Pollution from wood burning is the most health damaging and expensive environmental problem in Denmark.
This booklet describes the pollution and the connected health damages as well as the socio-economic costs. Furthermore, the booklet focus on climate effects from wood burning and how soot particles from wood burning contributes to global warming. Finally, the booklet highlights the many technical solutions as well as political decisions and local actions needed to reduce this serious pollution source.
